This episode of the podcast included a segment on pirate myths. This prompted Pat to choose The Major General’s song from Gilbert and Sullivan’s opera The Pirates of Penzance. Perhaps the most famous song by the pair, it is widely considered one of the toughest “patter songs” to perform due to the fast pace and tongue-twisting lyrics. It was a challenge for this parody as well.
