The obvious choice for a parody was the Lee Hazlewood written “These Boots Were Made for Walkin’” recorded and made famous by Nancy Sinatra. The 1985 Megadeth version prompted Hazlewood to demand that the song be omitted from their debut album – calling it “a perversion of the original.”
