A request from Darren who had introduced the show with an impersonation of Christopher Walken from the Saturday Night Live “more cowbell” sketch. Walken portrays “THE Bruce Dickinson,” supposed producer on the Blue Öyster Cult song “(Don’t Fear) The Reaper.” In fact, the song was not produced by Dickinson and the cowbell player in the sketch (Will Ferrell) is completely fictional. Factoid: Pat’s former band was invited to do opening spots for a Blue Öyster Cult tour in the mid ’90s.
