TRC #76: I Got You, Babe

Posted around Valentine’s Day, this was the first duet style parody of the Sonny and Cher singnature song, “I Got You, Babe.”  The song was written by Sonny Bono who was, at the time, a song writer for producer Phil Spector.   Bono was supposedly inspired by Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me, Babe” which was a hit for the Turtles.
