TRC #75: Folsom Prison Blues

A skeptical parody of the Johnny Cash hit “Folsom Prison Blues.”   In their studio, Pat and Cristina have a wall sized poster from the Billboard Magazine ad placed by producer Rick Reuben after Cash’s Grammy win.

The picture is Cash in 1970 giving the finger after a concert at San Quentin Prison and read “American Recordings and Johnny Cash would like to acknowledge the Nashville music establishment and country radio for your support.”  In the end,  Pat really just wanted to record the lyric “facepalm.”
